Monopole du Domaine Long-Depaquit
Lying across the boundary that separates Vaudésir from Les Preuses, although Moutonne does not constitute an officially separate climat, it nevertheless has Grand Cru status on account of its geographical situation.
Its origins date back to at least to the 13th century, when the Cistercian monks of Pontigny were given this plot by the monks of Saint Martin de Tours. Following the French Revolution, it was bought from the state in 1791 by the Depaquit family, and is still managed as a separate entity within the company today.
